Engender

Engender is a membership organisation, and welcome all those who identify as feminist women to join us.

Through our research and analysis we aim to make women’s inequality visible, and persuade those with power to make positive changes to services, policy, regulation, practices, and laws that negatively affect women.

We also work on specific projects such as our Equal Representation in Politics work, developing an Equal Media and Culture Centre for Scotland, and developing policy solutions to ending men’s violence against women.

We also offer support to organisations and local campaign groups, and work in partnership with other equalities organisations to advocate for change.
